The production was presented at the beginning of the film Flavor Unit Entertainment, and Jamal Hill Film. The main characters were presented: Larenz Tate, Lance Gross, Meagan Good, Rotimi Rick Gonzalez, Lala Anthony, and Antonique Smith. There were a couple film techniques used, such as a shot reverse shot, voice over, close up, fade out and a pan. At the beginning of the film there is a voice over and screening that implies something bad has happen, but it gives nothing about what the film is on. When you go a little further than 2 minutes in the film you are introduced to more of what the film is about. This film was nominated for the Pinkenson Award for Best Local Feature, but it had no wins. The films budget was $22 million and it grossed $45 million
