2.) How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?
- There is a variety of ways to engage an audience. In order to do so, you have find a target audience and identify their interest and incorporate those into your film. My target audience was young adults. I made my characters young and my genre was horror, specifically because when you see a horror movies it involve young couples and or more broadly, young people. In my film I also used a change of scenery and color. Mostly during the film it was natural colors at night, like how you would expect a film to look at night, then once the accident happens the color changes to green. I believe this engages my audience because they then realize something is about to happen an it keeps them anticipated at they will keep watching the film. To distribute the film I would use  Facebook and or Twitter to do so because they allow you to be able share videos and pictures and also comment. Twitter seems to be the most effective though because they are a more public social networking site. There's not many private post unless you do it yourself. Whereas Facebook is a more private place. Using motion picture distributors such as Columbia Pictures or Warner Bros would promote my films and expand the brand far being that they have been successful in doing so with horror movies for the past few decades.
